FTTP in WA
The first nbn® connections in Western Australia were made in Geraldton in late 2011, followed by Victoria Park and Mandurah. In 2022, Alexander Heights, Beckenham, Doubleview, Gwelup, Innaloo, Karrinyup, Langford, Marangaroo, and Thornlie were the first locations in the state to upgrade to FTTP.
Today, most areas along the coast of WA, as well as greater Perth and many of the state’s regional hubs are able to connect to high-speed FTTP – with many of the remaining areas due to be connected by 2025.
If your home or business is in one of the eligible suburbs but you haven’t already been upgraded, you can trigger an upgrade by placing an order for one of our three highest nbn® speed tier plans.
