We wish to advise that there is currently an unplanned outage for Fixed Wireless services in the suburb of Maitland, Mayfield, Hamilton and its surrounds.

We wish to inform you that a fibre failure approximately 7.8 km from Broadmeadow has been identified on our upstream network. Field technicians are working with the third party to assess the damage. Restoring the primary fibre may take longer than expected. We are provisioning a new circuit parallel to the existing to expedite service restoration. A revised ETR will be provided once more information is available.

Our engineering team and field technicians are closely working on provisioning the new circuit. We are continuously following up with our upstream provider to have the new circuit activated. The estimated time for restoration (ETR) has been updated to 6:00 PM AEDT.

Our engineering teams, in collaboration with our upstream provider, have identified the fibre failure with restoration efforts actively underway. This additionally includes provisioning a new alternate circuit to expedite service recovery.
Unfortunately, due to the complexity of the issue, the estimated time for restoration (ETR) has now been extended to 10:00 AM AEDT on Wednesday, 22 October 2025.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your patience as we work to restore services as quickly as possible. Further updates will be posted on our Network Status Page as they become available through the night.
